Attention DIISD Weekend (January 24/25) Students:
1/22/26 3pm: Due to expected extreme cold weather this coming weekend, Moving Mountains Adaptive Program
is moving all Saturday, and Sunday morning outdoor skiing activities indoors!
We plan to play games, create art projects,
work on balance and motion exercises, learn about ski equipment
and decorate cookies - all with a ski or winter theme.
Students from each of the impacted sessions will be contacted and invited to one of the indoor sessions. We hope that each of the registered students will join us for a indoor session of fun and learning!

Adaptive Ski Lessons
Our instructors build relationships with our students by giving them a new sense of freedom and helping them develop skills they didn’t believe possible.
Moving Mountains Adaptive Program provides ski lessons to students with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.
Lessons are provided at no cost to the student. This is made possible through generous donor support and the efforts of a very talented team of volunteer instructors and staff members.
Our instructors are trained by and follow the processes and procedures of Professional Ski Instructors of America.
Pine Mountain Ski and Golf Resort graciously provides us with our home base and supports us by providing skiing privileges to our instructor staff and students. We are very grateful for their many years of dedication to Moving Mountains.
Our typical instruction season runs from early January through mid/late March.
